Conditions of an environment and correct leaving play the important role in conservation of a life of not full-term child. At correctly organised leaving not full-term children from first days of a life well develop, and to the extremity of the first year their weight is enlarged in 5-7 times. Heaters are filled to half with hot water, densely are closed and keep within about the child from sides and in feet. To change them it is necessary in 3-4 hours. It is impossible to put heaters on a breast and a stomach of the child, it very much complicates its breath.

The temperature in a room where there is not full-term child, should be supported within 22-24 °C. Under a blanket the thermometer should show 30-33 °C. In the subsequent the temperature in a room can be lowered to 20 °C. It is impossible to forget that at a premise aeration, for that time when the window leaf is opened, the child should be taken out from a room. The usual linen which sell for newborns, not full-term is not necessary to the child. For it it is necessary to sew a jacket with a hood, under a cap to put a cotton wool layer, to make a baby's undershirt with the closed sleeves, valenoks of cotton wool. Besides, into the complete set of such child enter a diaper, cotton diapers, flannelette blanket and an envelope.

Often parents have a question: to what age it is necessary to warm not full-term children specially? This question is solved by the doctor. But, as a rule, not full-term child requires additional warming within the first month of a life. In further it gradually unwrap: in the beginning take out an envelope, then cease to wrap up in a warm blanket, to put heaters, to put on a jacket-hood.

To bathe not full-term children it is necessary at temperature of water 38-39 °C and at air temperature not more low 23-24 °C. Duration of bathing of 4-5 minutes of a bed-sheet need to be warmed Linen which is put on the child, and preliminary.

Walks on fresh air can be begun with 2nd month of a life. At first the child take out on 5-10 mines, further duration of walks gradually extend to 2 h 2 times a day. Walks in a cold season are resolved only after the weight of the child will reach 3 kg.

Not full-term children accept an irradiation by a mercury-quartz lamp after achievement of 2-month's age, massage, appointment of vitamins D and C.
